In partnership with Concourse Development, KB Home has purchased 66 acres for a new-home development in Richmond, Texas.
The property, located along FM 723 just north of FM 359, will be named Deer Run Meadows. KB Home will be the exclusive builder in the community, which will offer approximately 230 45-foot homesites.
“The Richmond/Rosenberg corridor is exploding as development in Fort Bend County continues to move west,” said Harry Masterson, founding principal of Concourse Development, a subsidiary of Concourse Companies. “Residents of Deer Run Meadows will be well located when sales launch at the end of 2018.”
Masterson said his team is coordinating with Fort Bend County and the Texas Department of Transportation to connect community streets to FM 723 and FM 359 for enhanced mobility.
Serving the community will be campuses in the Lamar Consolidated Independent School District, including Bentley Elementary, Wertheimer Middle, Briscoe Junior High and Foster High School.
KB Home was founded in 1957 and builds throughout the United States, including five markets in Texas and many communities in Texas.
Deer Run Meadows will be the third Houston-area community for Concourse Companies, which was founded in 2015. Other active projects include Woodson’s Reserve in Spring and Woodridge Forest in the Kingwood area.
